Nazmul is a business graduate with a major in marketing and minor in finance. He has experience in market systems development, financial modelling, and knowledge management in Urban, WASH, livelihoods, humanitarian, agriculture and public health nutrition sectors. His expertise also includes business analysis, promoting informal businesses and CSR fund management.

Nazmul has been working as a business development specialist at WSUP to provide technical support to sanitation service entrepreneurs. He extensively works for business development and capacity building of the enterprises WSUP works with.

Pritum is an Urban WASH Professional with over 10 years experience in result measurement, evaluation, learning, knowledge management, research management, research coordination and qualitative & quantitative assessment.

He currently leads the country’s M&E of WSUP in Bangladesh, alongside managing in-country research activities. Pritum looks to support the implementation of field testing and or respective activities under the research components. In addition, Pritum coordinates with internal & external colleagues which include non-profit counterparts, universities, research entities, government bodies etc. Prior to joining WSUP, Pritum managed similar portfolios for not for profits based in UK & Netherlands.

Aklima holds a Masters in Social Science from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh and has been working as a Hygiene Specialist at WSUP since January 2017. Aklima’s background involves working in reputed National and International Development organisations within water & sanitation.

As a hygiene specialist, Aklima is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of hygiene promotion activities in WSUP working areas. She assists in developing hygiene policy and strategy objectives for WSUP programmes and the implementation framework consistent with the goals and objectives of each programme. Aklima also does advocacy for hygiene and represents WSUP in National hygiene forums.

Habibur Rahman leads WSUP Bangladesh’s sanitation work. His prime responsibility is to oversee the sanitation component, including faecal sludge management, for overall planning and implementation of WSUP’s programme in Bangladesh.

He has a background in civil engineering with 17 years’ experience of programme planning, design, implementation and capacity building in the WASH sector, focusing on urban sanitation services. He previously worked with various organisations such as CARE, DAM and NGO Forum.

Shaheen leads WSUP’s work in Bangladesh. He ensures effective management and efficient delivery of the WSUP programme by providing strategic guidance and management support.

Shaheen has 28 years’ experience managing high profile relationships with organisations such as UNICEF, AusAID, USAID, European Commission, ECHO, Department for International Development, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and World Bank with WSUP, CARE and other organisations working on WASH. He has an MBA and is a graduate in civil engineering.
